316L STAINLESS STEEL JEWELRY AND HOW TO TREAT IT

HOW SHOULD I TREAT MY 316L STEEL JEWELRY?

Our jewels are in 316L stainless steel , they do not blacken or lose color, but let us help you with some advice on how to best care for them.
Being made of stainless steel they should not oxidize but they still need to be treated with care, let's start:
When you take off your jewelry, we recommend that you place it in the appropriate jewelry boxes or in our branded box. GLAMORIZE STUDIO where all the jewelry you have purchased will arrive.
Our jewels will follow you everywhere, even under water, but they do not like strong detergents or chemical agents\reagents (which can also be found in perfumes, in some shower gels, in some disinfectant solutions) because they can alter their colors, for this reason we recommend that you do not wear them if you have to use chemical agents or strong detergents. We also recommend that you do not keep them in contact with water containing sulfur such as thermal water.

It is very simple to clean them: do not use agents such as alcohol or similar to clean them, bacteria do not stick to the jewelry as they are made of stainless steel and have NON-POROSITY as their main feature. Just a little cold water and the dirt will fall off in a flash. But remember, after cleaning they must also be dried! Dry them with a smooth and soft cloth!

I hope these tips are helpful, if you need more information please contact our customer service on whatsapp.

WHAT IS 316L STAINLESS STEEL?

If you are asking yourself this question then you are in the right place, we have the answer for you!

The most common types of steel for jewellery are identified by some acronyms, ours by the acronym 316L . Where the letter L refers to low carbon emissions.

Surgical Steel (it is also called that) in urban jewelry it is used to create rings, pendants, necklaces, piercings and earrings.

It is a stainless material, very resistant, shiny and bright.

FEATURES OF 316L STEEL JEWELRY:

•NON-POROSITY

feature that makes it very resistant to stains and easy to clean. A non-porous material like 316L makes the jewel very hygienic and easy to sterilize because its "non-porous" feature prevents dirt and microbes from penetrating.

•CORROSION RESISTANCE

A high chromium content makes this alloy a champion of corrosion resistance, chromium prevents iron from forming rust, this characteristic is essential for steel used for piercings, since sweat is very caustic.

•HYPOALLERGENICITY

Allergic reactions to this material are very rare. Some implants are made of surgical stainless steel, precisely because of the minimal risk of allergic reactions.
